About this bottle
Crystal Head Onyx is the black-hued expression of Dan Aykroyd's Crystal Head Vodka, distilled from Canadian corn and cut with glacial water from Newfoundland. Like the rest of the line, it's quadruple-distilled and filtered through crushed Herkimer diamond crystals; the Onyx variant adds a further pass through diamond dust and charcoal that leaves the vodka inky black in the glass while keeping the base spirit clean. The nose is neutral with a faint mineral edge, the palate smooth and slightly creamy, and the finish short and crisp with none of the harsh bite of a cheaper vodka. It's a striking bottle for drinkers who want a talking-point vodka that still performs in a cocktail.
