About this bottle
My Favorite Neighbor Paso Robles is a Rhone-style red blend from the label founded by winemaker Daniel Daou's team, built from Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, and Counoise grown on Paso Robles' warm, rocky vineyard sites. That GSM-plus blend leans into ripe blackberry, plum, and baking spice on the nose, with dark cherry, blackberry, and a hint of white pepper carrying through a smooth, velvety palate. The finish is long and lingering rather than sharply tannic, which is typical of Rhone blends built for drinkability over decades of cellar aging. It's a red designed to be poured, not saved.
How to drink My Favorite Neighbor Paso Robles
Serve it with grilled meats, hearty stews, or aged cheese, where the peppery spice and dark fruit have something substantial to work against.
