About this bottle
Mionetto Prosecco DOC Treviso is a sparkling wine made from Glera grapes grown in the Treviso province of Italy's Veneto region, produced by Mionetto, one of the older and larger houses in Prosecco production with roots dating back to 1887. DOC Treviso designation ties the wine to that specific growing area under Italian appellation rules, one step below the more prestigious DOCG Prosecco Superiore from the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene hills. Made using the tank method typical of Prosecco rather than traditional Champagne-style bottle fermentation, it delivers fresh green apple, pear, and citrus with a light, crisp mouthfeel. This 187 ml split is sized for a single serving.
How to drink Mionetto Prosecco Treviso
Serve it well chilled, around 45 degrees, in a tulip glass rather than a flat Champagne coupe to hold the bubbles longer. It's an easy match for light appetizers, or simply on its own before a meal.
