Qvevri Wine Georgia Koncho&Co Tsinandali 750ml

Tsinandali is a dry white appellation in Georgia's Kakheti region, traditionally built on Rkatsiteli with Mtsvane Kakhuri alongside it, and Koncho & Co works in the Georgian idiom with clay qvevri buried in the ground. The result is a white with more texture than most: quince and white peach on the nose, a palate of orchard fruit, lemon pith and a faint honeyed note, then a dry, mineral finish with just enough grip to stand up to food. Serve it well chilled with walnut sauces, fresh cheese, herb-heavy salads or grilled river fish. It also makes an unusually interesting base for a spritz.
