Reigncane Cinnamon is a cinnamon-infused vodka bottled at 40% ABV as a limited edition. The base spirit is made from sugarcane rather than grain or potato, which gives the vodka a rounder, faintly sweet body before any flavour is added, and that turns out to be a useful foundation for an infusion that could otherwise read sharp. The nose is straightforward red-hot cinnamon with a sugared edge; the palate is warm and sweet, with baking-spice heat that builds rather than bites; the finish is short and clean. Serve it very cold as a shot, over ice with apple cider, or stirred into coffee.
