Sagamore Spirit's 10 Year Rye is a straight rye whiskey blended from two of the brand's mash bills — a high-rye recipe and a softer, traditional Maryland-style mash rounded out with corn and malted barley. Sagamore keeps the exact ratio undisclosed, but the blend is the point: rye spice with the edges taken off. Ten years is a long rest for rye specifically, and it shows in the added oak depth and roundness beyond Sagamore's standard release. Bottled at 110.8 proof, cask strength.
