Sextro Rye Red Label sits in the colour-coded Sextro rye range, where each label denotes a different recipe and barrel pick rather than an added flavour or finish. Rye whiskey leads with spice instead of sweetness, and this one plays to that: a nose of dill, orange oil and vanilla, a palate of black pepper, rye bread and soft toffee, and a dry finish with a mineral, faintly grassy edge to it.
