About this bottle

Siete Leguas is one of the oldest family-owned tequila houses still in Mexican hands, founded in 1952 by the González family and known for sticking to traditional production — brick ovens for cooking agave and a tahona wheel for crushing it, rather than the diffusers most large producers use now. This De Antaño Extra Añejo is aged roughly seven years, well past the two-year legal minimum for extra añejo, giving it deep caramel and dried-fruit character built on top of that traditional agave base. It's a collector-grade release for tequila drinkers who already appreciate Siete Leguas' more common blanco and reposado.

How to drink Siete Leguas De Antaño Extra Añejo

Treat it like an aged cognac or bourbon — a small neat pour in a snifter after dinner. Seven years in wood earns this one a slow sip, not a shot glass.
