Talisker Distillers Edition is a single malt Scotch from the Isle of Skye, matured first in ex-bourbon casks before a secondary finish in Amoroso sherry casks - the same double-maturation approach used across Diageo's Distillers Edition range. That finish adds dried fruit and a touch of sweetness on top of Talisker's usual smoke and maritime pepper. Expect a nose of brine and fruitcake, a palate that moves from smoky peat into raisin and dark toffee, and a long, warming, slightly peppery finish. It's a good match for drinkers who already like Talisker's core 10 Year and want to see how a sherry finish changes it.
How to drink Talisker Distillers Edition
