Tomatin Port Casks 14 Year is a single malt Scotch from Tomatin Distillery in the Highlands, finished in port pipes after its initial maturation to add a rich, fruity dimension beyond the distillery's standard bourbon-cask releases. Port pipes are the tall, narrow casks traditionally used to age Port wine in Portugal's Douro Valley, and their previous contents leave a distinct dark-fruit signature. Expect dark berry, plum and light spice on the nose, a rich, fruit-driven palate with vanilla and oak, and a warm, moderately long finish. A distinctive wine-cask-finished Highland malt.
