Torres 10 World Cup Reserva Imperial Brazil 750ml

This is the Brazil bottle in the Torres World Cup series, wrapped in the national colours around a brandy the Torres family has been making in Penedes, Catalonia for generations. The liquid inside is Torres 10 Reserva Imperial: wine distilled in copper and then aged roughly ten years in a solera of American oak casks, a tiered blending system that keeps the character steady from bottle to bottle. Vanilla, dried apricot and citrus peel sit on the nose, the palate is soft with toffee, raisin and cinnamon, and the finish is warm and nutty. Neat in a tulip glass, or long with cola and lime the way it is drunk across Spain.
