Tres Generaciones Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila from Sauza, named for the three generations of the Sauza family that built the distillery's reputation before Tres Generaciones launched as its top-shelf line. The agave is cooked, fermented, and distilled in Jalisco, then rested in American oak for eight months, bringing vanilla and caramel over the raw agave base without pushing all the way into anejo territory. It sits in an odd spot in the market: old-guard Mexican tequila heritage in a bottle that still reads mixable rather than collector-grade.

How to drink Tres Generaciones Reposado

It's smooth enough to sip neat or over a single rock, but also holds up well in a reposado margarita where its oak notes come through against the lime. Either way works depending on the occasion.
