About this bottle
Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé is a champagne built specifically for mixing and drinking over ice, a departure from the house's usual Yellow Label and Vintage Rosé that are meant to be sipped straight. It's the same Pinot Noir-led blend and Reims terroir that defines Veuve Clicquot's style, but dosed sweeter than a standard Brut so it holds up to ice dilution and citrus garnishes without going thin. Expect ripe red fruit and a rounder, fuller sweetness than a classic dry rosé champagne. Veuve Clicquot designed this specifically to be served differently from the rest of its range.
How to drink Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé
Serve it over ice with a slice of grapefruit or fresh berries, exactly as Veuve Clicquot intends — this is the one bottle in their range built to be mixed rather than sipped straight.

Questions about this bottle
What's the best way to serve Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé?
Chill it to about 40-45°F and serve in a flute or tulip-shaped glass to preserve the bubbles. Once opened, use a sparkling wine stopper and refrigerate it — it will start losing its fizz within a day or two.
What food pairs well with Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé?
Shellfish, light appetizers, or berry desserts pair well — its riper fruit and rounder sweetness give it a bit more flexibility than a bone-dry brut.
What's the story behind Veuve Clicquot?
The house dates to 1772, but its name comes from Madame Barbe-Nicole Clicquot ('veuve' means widow in French), who took over the business after her husband's death in 1805 and is credited with inventing the riddling process still used in traditional-method sparkling wine production.
