Virginia Distillery Company's Virginia-Highland Malt is a single malt whiskey blending in-house distillate with Scotch single malt, a signature of the house's style. This 7-year expression carries more time in barrel than the brand's standard release, softening the youth out of the American side of the blend and letting the Scotch component's oak character come further forward. Made from 100% malted barley. Virginia's climate runs hotter and more humid than Scotland's, which pushes barrel interaction faster than a comparable Highland release.
