About this bottle
WhistlePig FarmStock Rye Crop No. 003 is a blended rye whiskey and the third annual release in the distillery's farm-to-bottle FarmStock series. Each Crop is built around estate rye grown on WhistlePig's Vermont farm — here 52% of the blend, a three-year whiskey aged in Vermont oak — rounded out with 31% six-year and 17% ten-year Canadian rye for depth the young estate spirit can't reach on its own yet. WhistlePig calls it a triple-terroir whiskey, and because the numbered crops shift year to year, 003 is its own snapshot. The profile runs green and grassy against older barrel spice. Pour it neat to read the estate rye, or let it anchor a Manhattan built for rye drinkers.

Questions about this bottle
What's the best way to serve FarmStock Rye Crop No. 003?
Serve it neat or on the rocks in a rocks glass; a splash of water helps open up the spice and pepper notes rye is known for.
What cocktails work well with FarmStock Rye Crop No. 003?
It's a natural fit for a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned, where its spice holds up against the sweet vermouth or sugar.
What does 'FarmStock' mean for this rye?
It's a blend of rye whiskeys of different ages and origins — a 3-year Vermont estate rye plus 6- and 10-year Canadian ryes — rather than a single distillate.
