Xi Feng Jiu 750 ML

Xi Feng Jiu is one of China's historic baijiu, distilled from sorghum in Fengxiang County, Shaanxi, and long counted among the country's most celebrated spirits. It has its own aroma category, feng xiang, which sits between the light and strong styles and draws much of its character from the traditional wicker-lined ageing vessels the distillery uses. The aroma is intense: tropical fruit, honey, cereal and a mineral edge. The palate is powerful and clean, sweet up front with pepper and grain behind it, and the finish is dry and lingering. Serve it in small cups at room temperature, alongside a full table of food.
