Yéyo Día de los Muertos Luna Volume II is the moon bottle from the second run of the Jalisco brand's Day of the Dead series, and this one arrives signed, a decorated bottle meant for the shelf as much as the glass. The tequila inside is joven: unaged spirit blended with a touch of rested tequila, so the agave stays forward while the texture softens. The nose is cooked agave, orange peel and a dusting of white pepper; the palate is clean and lightly sweet with vanilla, lime and green herbs; the finish is short and peppery. Serve it neat in a copita, lightly chilled if you like.
