Tesoro Azul Blanco is the unaged expression of the range, bottled without barrel time so the agave arrives unfiltered by wood. Blanco is where you can actually taste the production: the sweetness of the cooked piñas, the citrus and mineral notes fermentation leaves behind, the pepper that comes off the still. Fresh cooked agave, lime and green herbs on the nose; sweet agave with citrus pith and white pepper on the palate; a bright, short finish with a peppery snap. Drink it neat and lightly chilled in a small glass, or shake it into a margarita with fresh lime — it holds up either way.
