Yéyo Día de los Muertos Sol Volume II is the sun bottle from the second run of the brand's Day of the Dead series, signed and hand-decorated for collectors as much as for drinkers. Inside is joven tequila from Jalisco: unaged blanco blended with a small amount of rested spirit, which keeps the agave clear while rounding off the edges. The nose gives cooked agave, grapefruit peel and a light pepper note; the palate is soft and lightly sweet with vanilla, citrus and a fresh vegetal streak; the finish is clean, short and warming. Pour it neat into a copita, or let it carry a paloma.
