Zubrowka Vodka Bison Sleeve

Zubrowka Bison Grass is a Polish rye vodka infused with a tincture of the bison grass that grows in the Bialowieza Forest, and each bottle carries a single blade of it. That infusion is what separates it from a neutral vodka. The nose is soft hay and fresh-cut grass with a lift of vanilla, the palate runs gently sweet and almost creamy with clover honey, warm spice and a faint almond edge, and the finish is dry, herbal and long. Serve it very cold in a chilled glass, or build the Polish classic, the Szarlotka: half Zubrowka and half cloudy apple juice over ice, with a squeeze of lemon.
