Conejo Salvaje Tequila Anejo 750 ml

Conejo Salvaje Añejo is a tequila made from blue Weber agave and rested in oak long enough to take on colour and weight without losing the plant underneath. Añejo sits at the mature end of the agave spectrum: at least a full year in barrel, which sands down the sharper edges and pulls vanilla, dried fruit and wood spice into the glass. On the nose expect cooked agave, caramel and toasted oak. The palate runs to butterscotch, roasted pepper and a little cinnamon, and the finish is long, warm and lightly sweet. Drink it neat in a copita, or pour it where you would reach for an aged rum.
