Ron Barceló Blanco Añejado is a white rum from Ron Barceló, one of the Dominican Republic's leading rum houses, made by aging the rum in oak first and then charcoal-filtering it to strip the color back out while keeping the aged character underneath. That process gives it a smoother, more rounded profile than an unaged white rum, without the golden color aging usually leaves behind. Expect vanilla and light caramel notes despite the clear color, a smooth palate, and a clean finish. Bottled here in a 1-liter format.
