Ararat 70 Year is a rare, deeply aged brandy from the Yerevan Brandy Company in Armenia, home to one of the world's oldest and most storied brandy-making traditions dating back to the late 19th century. Armenian brandy is produced similarly to cognac, distilled from wine and matured for extended periods in oak, and a 70-year expression represents an exceptionally long maturation even by that standard. Expect dried fruit, fig, and deep oak on the nose, rich toffee and spice on the palate, and a long, complex finish. It's a rare, collector-grade sipping brandy.
