Hennessy XO is one of the House of Hennessy's flagship aged Cognacs, a blend of up to 100 different eaux-de-vie, some aged decades, selected for depth and complexity well beyond the entry-level VS or mid-tier VSOP. "XO" stands for Extra Old, a designation requiring a minimum age considerably longer than VSOP. Expect a nose of dried fruit, dark chocolate, and rancio spice, a rich, dense palate with candied fruit and old oak, and a very long, warming finish. It's built for slow, reverent sipping rather than mixing.
