Torres 10 World Cup Reserva Imperial Mexico 750ml

This is the Mexico bottle in the Torres World Cup series, and the brandy inside is Torres 10 Reserva Imperial, made by the Torres family in Penedes, Catalonia. Wine is distilled and then aged around ten years in a solera of American oak, a stacked system of casks where the older wood is constantly refreshed with younger spirit, smoothing out the edges as it goes. Vanilla, apricot and candied orange lead the nose, the palate settles into toffee, raisin and soft spice, and the finish stays warm and round. Serve it neat, or long over ice with cola, which is the standard Spanish serve.
