Merlet Brothers Blend Cognac is a Cognac from Merlet, a family-run distilling house based in the Charente region of France that has worked in eaux-de-vie since the 1850s. The blend is built from Ugni Blanc grapes, double-distilled in copper alembic stills and rested in French oak casks before bottling. Expect the broad strokes of a well-made blended Cognac: dried fruit and toasted oak up front, a touch of vanilla and baking spice through the middle, and a warm, gently woody finish.
