About this bottle
Roger Moore's decade gets its dram: The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release Decade II is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky honoring the franchise's 1970s run. The 700ml bottle's packaging reproduces original concept art from The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker — the Atlantis exterior and the Space Station sketches. Inside is the whisky master whisky maker Kirsteen Campbell composed for all six decade editions: Suisse gold in color, 43.7% ABV in a nod to 007, with honeyed malt, orchard fruit, vanilla, and soft oak spice. The 2022 set of six turned into a collector chase almost immediately. Complete the run, or open this one when the Moore marathon reaches Moonraker.
How to drink The Macallan James Bond Decade II
Neat, in a proper glass, is the way to honor a whisky built for collectors — this isn't a bottle to cut with ice or mixers. Pour it slowly and give the honeyed malt and orchard fruit time to unfold.
