About this bottle

Patrón Extra Añejo is aged a minimum of three years in oak barrels — the threshold required for Mexico's extra añejo designation — the longest maturation in the Patrón range. Distilled from 100% blue Weber agave in Jalisco, the extended time in wood brings deep caramel, dark chocolate, and toasted oak over the cooked-agave base, layered with dried fruit and warm baking spice. Expect a rich, full-bodied palate and a long, smooth, woody finish. Bottled at 80 proof, it's built for slow, deliberate sipping rather than mixing — closer in character to an aged whiskey or Cognac than to a typical tequila.

How to drink Patrón Extra Añejo

Serve it neat in a snifter, the way you would an aged brandy — three years in oak earns it that treatment. Skip the mixers here; this bottle is meant to be tasted slowly.
