Tesoro Azul Anejo Cristalino Tequila 750 ml

Tesoro Azul Añejo Cristalino is aged tequila that has been filtered back to clear. The añejo spends its year or more in oak, picking up caramel and vanilla, and then charcoal filtration strips the colour while leaving most of the barrel flavour behind — the result looks like a blanco and drinks like something much softer. Cooked agave, vanilla and light almond on the nose; silky caramel and toasted oak with clean agave underneath; a soft, sweet finish that tapers clean. Serve it chilled and neat, which is how cristalino is usually drunk in Mexico, or over a single large cube.
