Bauchant Cognac and Orange Essence 750 ML

Bauchant is an orange liqueur built on a base of VS and VSOP Cognac from growers across the Cognac region of France, blended with a proprietary mix of orange essences sourced from Curaçao. The Cognac is triple-distilled before blending, then aged in seasoned wood casks, and the finished liqueur is bottled at 40% ABV. It leans sweeter and more citrus-forward than sipping Cognac, with bright orange peel up front, a caramel and vanilla base from the wood, and a smooth, lingering finish. Built as a mixing liqueur first, useful anywhere a recipe calls for orange liqueur with a little extra depth from the Cognac underneath.

How to drink Bauchant Orange Liqueur

This is a mixing bottle before it's a sipping one — it's a strong substitute for triple sec or Grand Marnier in a Margarita or Cosmopolitan, and it adds real depth to a Sidecar. On its own over ice with a twist works fine too, just don't expect Cognac-level complexity.
