Bruichladdich Octomore 11.3 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the same annual Octomore release as 11.1, distilled on Islay from heavily peated Scottish barley and part of the world's most intensely peated whisky series. Exact cask treatment can vary release to release within the series, but the house style stays constant: massive peat smoke layered over Bruichladdich's coastal, cask-strength intensity. Expect a nose of dense bonfire smoke, a palate carrying tar, dark chocolate and citrus peel against the peat, and an enormous, lingering smoky finish. It's built for drinkers already committed to the most extreme end of Scotch whisky.
