Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial is the house's signature non-vintage champagne, this bottling dressed in limited-edition packaging. It is blended each year from several hundred base wines across the three Champagne grapes, with a share of reserve wines held back to keep the style consistent from release to release, then aged on the lees in Épernay's cellars. The nose is green apple and white flowers turning toward brioche. The palate is citrus and white peach carried on a fine persistent bead, and the finish is crisp, dry and faintly mineral. Serve it cold in a tulip glass, on its own or alongside oysters and salty snacks.
