The Terrazas de Los Andes Grand Malbec High Altitude vineyard 750ml is an award-winning red wine from the Mendoza region in Argentina. It is made from 100% Malbec, sourced from hand-harvested grapes grown at high altitudes—over 3,000 feet—in the Uco Valley. It is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and has a bold, complex nose of dark red fruits, white pepper, violet and leather scents. On the palate, flavors of vibrant blackberry, cassis and black cherry mingle with notes of cocoa and roasted coffee. The finish is rich and well balanced, with a lingering, velvety mouthfeel. This red wine pairs well with grilled meats, rich pastas, and aged cheeses.
