The 2015/2016 vintage of Opus One is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 7% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec. It has a deep ruby color and aromas of blackberry, cassis, and dark chocolate. On the palate, it has flavors of blackberry, cassis, and dark chocolate, with hints of tobacco, cedar, and graphite. The tannins are firm and the finish is long and lingering.
