Qui Rare Extra Anejo Founders Reserve 2009 750ml

De Qui (formerly known as Qui Rare) is a limited edition, hand-crafted tequila produced by Anejo Tequila Mexico (ATM). ATM is owned by Nemesio and Patricia Orozco, who built their tequila business over 40 years before producing Qui Rare from 100% Blue Weber agave. Their Extra Anejo Founders Reserve 2009 was rated very highly by Tequila.net with a 93/100 score and the tequila is a limited edition release of just 4599 bottles. The Extra Anejo Founders Reserve 2009 is aged for 1800 days in white oak barrels. It has a mild sweet aroma with notes of honey, wood, and almonds. On the palate the tequila offers a full body mouthfeel with flavors of candied orange, roasted herbs, and cinnamon. The flavor is rounded out with a smooth finish and highlights of pepper, wood, and vanilla.
