About this bottle

Twenty-nine years in Spanish sherry wood shaped The GlenDronach Kingsman Edition 1989, a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky created by master blender Rachel Barrie with Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn. Distilled in 1989 and released in 2020 alongside The King's Man film, the whisky matured in oloroso sherry casks before a final stretch in Pedro Ximénez wood, then went to bottle at 50.1% ABV. Expect dark fruits and sherry-soaked walnuts on the nose, a palate of autumn fruits, dates, figs, and treacle, and a finish that lingers on blackberry and tobacco leaf. Just 3,052 bottles were released worldwide. This is a special-occasion pour for the sherried-whisky devotee — or the collector who admired the tailoring.
