The double-malt mash bill runs 79% rye backed by 15% malted rye and 6% malted barley, a recipe that trades young rye bite for depth: baked apple and cinnamon up front, then butterscotch, clove, and seasoned oak riding a long, spice-warmed finish. Because it is a single barrel, each cask reads a little different from the last — that is the appeal for collectors.
