Amor Mio Reposado 750ml

Amor Mio Reposado is a rested tequila, sitting in the middle of the agave scale between the raw green edge of a blanco and the wood-heavy sweetness of an anejo. Mexican law gives reposado a narrow window, no less than two months in oak and no more than a year, and that short rest is enough to round a spirit while leaving the agave in charge of it. The nose is cooked agave and vanilla with light toasted oak. The palate is soft and mildly sweet, with caramel, pear and black pepper through the middle, and the finish is warm and medium-length. Pour it neat, or build it into a margarita that wants a little more weight.
