Azulejos Reposado arrives in cobalt blue glass with a hand-applied ceramic label, here in the large 1.75 liter format. Reposado spends between two months and a year in oak, which is just enough time to sand the edges off a blanco while leaving the agave in charge of the glass. Expect cooked agave with light oak and caramel on the nose, a palate of vanilla, citrus peel and soft pepper, and a rounded, warm finish. At this size it is a bottle for a long table rather than a quiet evening, and the blue glass earns its keep as a centerpiece. Mix it into margaritas, or pour it neat over ice.
