It opens with medicinal peat, brine, and heather, moving toward tropical fruit on the nose, then turns savory on the palate with seaweed, barbecue char, and honeyed vanilla oak with a hint of pineapple, finishing on lingering peat smoke. This is a bottle for Islay-leaning drinkers chasing something heavier and more textured than a standard blended malt.
