Wild Turkey 101 is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at exactly 101 proof, higher than the 80-to-90-proof range most entry bourbons sit in. That extra proof, combined with Wild Turkey's rye-forward mash bill, gives it a bolder profile than many bourbons at this price: black pepper and spice up front, caramel and vanilla underneath, and a warming, oak-driven finish. Aged a minimum of six to eight years in new charred oak, it's built to stand up in a cocktail without disappearing behind other ingredients.
