Pure Scot Blended Scotch Whisky 700ml

Pure Scot is a blended Scotch built around malt from Bladnoch, the Lowland distillery in Wigtownshire that was revived by Australian owner David Prior after years of silence. The Lowland character sets the tone: this is a gentle, grassy style of whisky rather than a smoky one. The nose opens on pear, honey and soft cereal, the palate runs vanilla and malt with orchard fruit and a light spice lift, and the finish is clean and sweet without overstaying. It is a blend made for mixing as much as sipping, so use it in a highball with soda, or in a whisky sour.
