The 2020 Aloxe-Corton Les Chaillots from Domaine Louis Latour is a red Burgundy with a deep ruby color and aromas of blackberry and black cherry with a subtle spiciness. On the palate there's rich dark fruit and cherry, hints of earth and cocoa powder, and well-integrated tannins, with excellent balance, a long finish, and a velvety texture.
How to drink Aloxe-Corton Les Chaillots
Give it a short decant and serve around 60-64°F in a Burgundy glass — this is a wine built to open up over the course of a meal. Duck, mushroom risotto, or aged Comté are strong pairings.
