About this bottle
El Dorado Single Barrel is a limited-edition rum produced in the Demerara region of Guyana. It starts with pot-still-distilled rums from the oldest operating distillery in the Caribbean and matures them in small ex-Bourbon barrels on-site at Demerara Distillery, then bottles at cask strength with no added sugar or flavouring. Smooth and sweet with notes of butterscotch, toffee, dried fruit, and spice.
How to drink El Dorado Single Barrel
Neat is the way to go — cask strength Demerara rum like this has enough going on that ice or mixers would just get in the way. A few drops of water can help if the proof feels too hot at first.
