Hendry's decision to bottle it as a standalone varietal highlights the grape's naturally deep color and firm tannic structure rather than folding it into a Cabernet blend. Expect a medium-bodied red with blackberry, plum, and baking spice aromas, dark cherry and blackberry flavors, soft tannins, and a long finish. It pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, and aged cheeses.
