About this bottle
Jefferson's Ocean, Voyage 34 is the latest release in Jefferson's long-running series of bourbon matured at sea — barrels of very small batch straight bourbon are loaded onto ships and sent through changing climates and constant rocking motion, which accelerates the whiskey's interaction with the wood far beyond what a stationary rickhouse produces. Each voyage is its own barrel blend, so Voyage 34 carries its own specific balance of caramel, salt-tinged oak and dried fruit shaped by wherever this particular shipment traveled. Jefferson's is a non-distiller producer, sourcing and blending whiskey rather than distilling it themselves.
