About this bottle

Leyenda de México Reposado is a 100% blue agave tequila distilled in Jalisco, Mexico, and rested for eight months in American white oak barrels. That barrel time gives it a smooth, complex character with aromas of honey, vanilla, and ripe fruit, layered with notes of cinnamon and pepper. On the palate it carries the same honey, vanilla, and ripe fruit notes, finishing long and smooth. Eight months puts it solidly in reposado territory — enough oak contact to round out the spirit without pushing it toward añejo's heavier wood character. It suits drinkers who want a well-rounded, aromatic reposado.

How to drink Leyenda de México Reposado

What does 'reposado' mean?

Reposado means 'rested' -- this tequila spends eight months aging in American white oak, within the two-months-to-a-year window that defines the category.
