About this bottle
Solarum Blanco is an unaged Jalisco tequila with flakes of edible 24 karat gold suspended in the bottle, so every pour catches the light before it reaches the glass. Under the theatre it behaves like a blanco should: cooked agave, citrus zest and green pepper on the nose, then sweet agave and lime across a clean palate with a mineral bite and a crisp, peppery finish. Because nothing has been rounded off by wood, it stays bright and direct. Serve it well chilled in a tall shot, or let the gold do its work in a shaken margarita with fresh lime and a light touch of agave syrup.
