About this bottle
Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey blends malt and grain whiskey matured in ex-bourbon casks, then finishes the blend in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. That rum finish is the whiskey's signature — it pushes the profile toward toffee, dark sugar, and vanilla, layered over the honey and light spice you'd expect from a young Irish blend. Teeling Distillery in Dublin opened in 2015, and Small Batch is its flagship, non-chill filtered and bottled at 92 proof. Approachable and a little sweeter than a standard blend, it suits drinkers who want an easy-sipping Irish whiskey with a genuine twist rather than the usual bourbon-cask-only formula.
How to drink Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
Serve it over ice with ginger ale for an easy rum-leaning highball, or neat if you want the toffee and vanilla undiluted. It's forgiving enough for an Irish whiskey newcomer.
