Noravank is a dry red from the 2022 vintage, brought in by Cork & Bottle Imports. Young reds like this drink best with a little air and a little food: the tannin is still tight straight from the bottle, and half an hour open lets the fruit come forward. Expect dark cherry, blackberry and dried herb on the nose, a palate of black fruit and pepper carried on firm, dusty tannin, and a dry finish with a savoury edge. Decant it or pour it early, then serve it with grilled lamb, roasted eggplant, or a stew that has been on the stove all afternoon.
